ABOUT THE RESORT

Panichishte is located at an altitude of about 1400 m and is known as a destination for both summer and winter tourism.

In winter, Panichishte offers good conditions for skiers and fans of winter sports. At their disposal are an alpine ski slope (470 m), a children's ski slope (200 m) and several other slopes, all of which are equipped with a ski lift. The resort also has a cross-country track (5000 m), a children's ski area with a "baby" tow. A special place is also reserved for sledding on a 1130 m long track.

In the summer, Panichishte is the starting point for many hiking trips. The resort borders the "Rila" National Park, and the lowest glacial lake in the mountain - Dry Lake - is located in the area. From Panichishte you can also reach Rila Lakes (4 hours), Rila Monastery (2 days), Skakavish Waterfall (3 hours), etc.

In Panichishte accommodation is available in hotels, villas and lodges. The resort has a well-developed sports base for practicing sports such as football, volleyball, etc.

The proximity of the resort to Sapareva Banya, where the warmest mineral water springs in Bulgaria, makes it a preferred destination for spa and health tourism.
