Lower Lake is the lowest of the Seven Rila Lakes.
It is located at 2095 m above sea level. Its area is 5.9 ha, and the depth is 11 m. It has a steep threshold and is closed from the north by a moraine rampart.
There are a lot of fish in the lake, that's why it is called "The Fish", but fishing is still prohibited.
